All of the Old Testament Prophets were chosen by Jesus and inspired by the Holy Spirit to deliver the Message of Truth: The Coming of the Saviour.
Though they all were messengers of Holy Spirit, none was perfect. Sooner or later they would die because, like all human beings, their nature was corrupted. Eventually, no one was going to be saved,
The Message Aim
All were awaiting a Savior and longing for the Salvation. Even the ‘good’ people.
The moment He came was that of Salvation.
God’s incarnation solved that problem.
God is Love. He created Man to be just as Him. Each and everyone of us is called His beloved. Each and everyone of us is created as His image. We are His own sons and daughters.
Hence, God sent His only begotten son to save Man. For this to happen, God has had to have our human nature – a nature totally different from ours.
He is totally God. He is full of Divine Nature. In order to become a man, He has to unite Himself, His Holy nature, to the nature of human being.
Incarnation: the only way to salvation:
This was achieved through the Miracle of the Incarnation.
St Mary, the chosen girl, the only one girl among all the human race, was chosen to be the Mother of God.
Inside her womb, the unity between the divine nature and the human nature was made, giving birth to: Jesus Christ – the Son of Man and the Son of God.
One Person of one Nature of two natures.
To have the Nature of God and nature of Man now in one person is extremely different from anything, you know. He is not only a man and now He is not only a God.
He was always God, but now He became Man.
Just for us.
It was not a necessary in itself.
He never needed to be a man. But we needed that badly.
Why Incarnation?
We needed Him to incarnate to save us because He is holy. He is pure. He had no sin in himself. There is no problem in Himself. There is no death in His nature. He can bring for us the life again. He can bring to us the holy life again. He can bring to us the good life again. Hence, He can share with us His eternal life.
We gave Him our human nature with all of its corruption. He started to give us His pure eternal life through the unity of His Divine Nature with the human nature in the one man called: Christ: The Son of God.
He is the long awaited for ‘Messiah; the One all the prophets of the Old Testament were longing to meet.
He is the Saviour long awaited for by all human beings who were all expecting death and eternal suffering.
Well, No one wants to die.
Finally, He is here.
Finally He is ready to redeem everyone.
